The softness that is snow

We don't get much snow here in Alabama, but when we do it is a magical gift. This is actually a snowfall from December 25, 2010. Snow in Alabama is not a regular occurrence, but snow on Christmas day is rare indeed.

Finding beauty in the simplest things

Sometimes life becomes so hectic that we forget to stop and revel in the beauty of the simple things surrounding us. There is beauty everywhere...we need only look.
